About us

Attimi restaurant is a brand-new opening planned for early September. The 28-seater intimate venue in Paddington will provide a modern Italian fine dining experience. 
On weekends, diners can expect to receive a choice of two set menus that showcase contemporary cuisine across a number of Italian regions - one menu being eight courses, the other being 12 courses - both which incorporate a combination of snacks alongside more substantial plates. From Tuesday to Thursday, diners will have additional choice from an ‘a la carte’ menu. 
The beverage menu will host approximately 90 labels of rare & regional Italian wines, in addition to French and Australian producers.

About the role 

The Attimi team is seeking an experienced & motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of this exiting high-end dining establishment. 
The role will suit someone who is looking to expand their current skillset or take the next step in their hospitality career.
More specifically, we’re looking for someone who is operationally driven with attention to detail and a passion for excellence in your standard of service, you will thrive in successfully running the day-to-day operations of the venue and engage with our unique customer base, ensuring a high level of satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability through both strategic and innovative thinking.
Our aim is to amplify the brand nationally through a premium and unforgettable experience, we really want to take our guests through a journey gifting them with amazing modern Italian food creations and exceptional service.

About you

With demonstrated skill and a proactive, driven attitude, you will be someone with:

  • 3+ years venue management experience 
  • Exceptionally strong strategic management and organisational skills
  • Experience in developing and executing day to day venue functions
  • great can do attitude, respectful, honest and positive.
  • hatted - Michelin experience or similar is highly recommended
  • Knowledgeable about sevenrooms reservations program and square pos, training will be provided. 
  • An ability to engage with a unique customer base 
  • Excellent interpersonal, employee management, and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to effectively resolve any areas of concern 
  • Well-rounded understanding of compliance requirements for venue operations incl. licensing, fire safety, etc
  • Good knowledge and passion in wine and beverages 
     

What you will bring to the role

You will bring a positive and extensive venue management experience and have a track record of successfully operating an intimate venue. This will include introducing new strategies to increase repeat visits, achieving brand objectives in conjunction with department-based objectives, delivering unique and memorable customer experiences, management of the team inclusive of recruitment, training, reservations overlook, and performance management, coordination of rosters, working within budgetary requirements and ensuring compliance with all state and territory government requirements.
